These are individual sessions focusing on specialized topics for improving the understanding of yoga poses and techniques. We address a variety of health concerns such as insomnia, anxiety, ADHD, etc.
The session is led by Sarahjoy and assisted by qualified graduates from the Yoga Teacher Training Programs. |
Yin yoga is inherently a practice of myofascial release. We'll incorporate other myofascial release techniques, as well, including manual therapies to stimulate trigger points in the body and facilitate deep restoration.
Every class will also focus on the energetic pathways of the body and mind, along with opportunities for meditation and relaxation. |
Pranayama and mediation are an integral part of yoga, but they are unfortunately not as frequently practiced in modern times. This class series will explore the depth and beauty of these practices, creating a foundation for you to practice on your own and potentially transform your life. You will find your place in this class whether you are a complete beginner or a regular practitioner.

CLIMATE AWARENESS GROUPSJoin Sarahjoy and fellow community members at our Climate Awareness Group with teachings and practices to support trauma stewardship, to recognize and resolve our implicit memories (held in our bodies and interrupting our ability to be present in specific ways), and to develop a compassionate approach to support others as they encounter held trauma.
