The Breitenbush Sanctuary
A Sanctuary for all beings
Join us in celebrating the upcoming rebuild of our Beloved Sanctuary! We know that our guests have been awaiting this rebuild and we are so delighted to now be underway. The Sanctuary hosted the Daily Well-Being programs for 37 years, as well as many other programs for personal communion, inner renewal, community connection, and sacred conversations.
We aim to break ground in the Spring of 2025. You can help us with this auspicious goal by supporting our fundraising efforts today! The budget for the Sanctuary Rebuild is estimated at $750K which includes the costs of materials, Breitenbush building team members, outside contractors such as architects and licensed contractors, site excavation, and the creation of simple housing for offsite workers during their contracts. |

In addition to supporting us with the building of the new Sanctuary, we also invite you to donate toward the landscaping bricks around the Sanctuary. These donations can either be in your name, or as a Memorial Donation, in the name of a loved one whom you wish to memorialize or to remember when you sit in meditation.
For those of you who have visited Breitenbush Fire House, you have seen the bricks surrounding the Fire House with the names of the many donors who supported the BFD, Breitenbush Fire Department, to build that structure (which survived the wildfires of 2020 and was instrumental in fighting off the fires to the extent that was possible). In this same spirit, your donation for a Memorial Brick, either in your own name or for a loved one, will go toward the creation of the Sanctuary and the meditation gazebo, Ellis Island. |
June 25 - 27Donors who donate $2,000 or more will be welcomed to a special Donors Celebration in June. Donations can be a combination of Sanctuary Rebuild Donations, Memorial Bricks, or donations to our general rebuilding fund.
Join us for two nights at Breitenbush as our guests; meet the team of builders and visionaries; get a tour of the foundation, framing, and infrastructure; and attend special Daily Well-Being sessions. |
