Yoga & Strength Conditioning A combination of traditional yoga poses and conditioning exercise using exercise balls and thera-bands. Designed for specific conditioning of the stabilizing joints in the body to support rehabilitation from injury and cross-training for athletic pursuits. These classes are ideal for myofacial therapy, rehydration of the tissues, reducing inflammation in the joints, and strengthening the "core".
Our core muscles include the pelvic floor, transverse abdominus, multifidii, and diaphragm. (not the rectus abdominus). They work best with ideal mental states of mindfulness, concentration, and elegant effort. These classes also develop these capacities.
