About this course:
Enhance the calming effects of yoga by blending it with TRE® (Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises), a unique, movement-based approach to down-regulating the nervous system. Through an overview of Polyvagal Theory, you'll strengthen your foundation for understanding and supporting your nervous system.
Then, you'll learn to initiate the TRE® process and rekindle your body's natural ability to shake off accumulated stress and tension. You'll be encouraged to listen closely to your body's signals and given guidance to pace your experience. As weeks progress, you'll have opportunities to combine tools of yoga such as asana, pranayama, chanting, and meditation with TRE®, giving you a taste of how adding this element to your repertoire can deepen your self-care practice.
