The Under-Current of Love

Paula Moreno

Picture
Paula was introduced and instantly mesmerized by the effect of yoga at age 14 when her friend’s mother was giving free after-school classes. She has since been on a quest to understand that effect. She is a 500hr RYT and currently completing her 800hr IAYT Yoga Therapy Training with Sarahjoy.

Paula hails from Tucson, AZ, and after living in many different cities, finally arrived in Portland in 2022  with her husband, two kiddos and no dog (YET). Her family is an “Indo-Mexi” one, as her and her husband, Aalap, dub it. Aalap’s family is from India and her parents and brothers immigrated from Mexico before she was born. There are usually lots of good things to eat and may flavors to enjoy in their household.

Underneath it all, Paula's deep love and respect for each person's unique life journey and desire for their true healing is the undercurrent for all of her classes.
