Sanskrit Fundamentals:
​The Sacred Language of Yoga

Using physioballs, foam rollers, and other household items (such as a tennis ball) this class focuses on strengthening your intrinsic core, improving your myofacial glide, and increasing flexibility, strength, and balance.  We have seen this practice contribute greater integration and stamina to students' yoga practices as well as providing discovery, fun, improvisation, and integration.

Mondays 12 - 1 pm

Yoga Mechanics & Mindfulness

Join us each month for a specific topic designed to target the specificity of elegant alignment for the physical practice of yoga asana. In today's online yoga world, giving individualized attention that can target specific alignment issues for students needs a specialized setting. We'll ask all students to have their videos on (and cameras positioned!) so that the teachers can be of best support to each individual. 

4-week series 
Mondays 12 - 1 pm: April 4, 11, 18, 25
Tuesdays 4 - 5 pm: April 5, 12, 19, 26
Wednesdays 12 - 1 pm: April 6, 13, 20, 27
 Thursdays 4 - 5 pm: April 7, 14, 21, 28
​Sliding Scale: $60 - 80 for the series.

Yoga for Beginners

This class orients new students to the important elements of a yoga practice including the basic poses, breath practices, and mindfulness tools that we recommend new students learn to improve their physical and mental well-being.  The teachers will also provide yogic philosophy and help students to understand the path and the tradition of yoga.  

4-week series 
Saturdays 9 - 10 am: April 2, 9, 16, 23
Sundays 9 - 10 am: April 3, 10, 17, 24
​Sliding Scale: $60 - 80 for the series.

Yoga for Stay At Home Moms

All of the teachers have been or are currently stay at home moms as well as being yoga teachers. Being a stay at home mom (SAHM) also means being a teacher, a driver, a cook, a cleaner, a nurse, an inspiration, and more...  Themes for this class will include addressing the anxiety of parenting, working with insomnia, carpooling like a yogini, creating an inner advocate for yourself so you can pee, eat, shower, and breathe in your life. The class is provides camaraderie, support, and renewal.

Add to your current DAYA membership or sign up for our special SAHM Monthly Membership with sliding scale options:  $40 - $80/month.  Your membership also  supports our women's yoga program at Coffee Creek Correctional Institution.

Yoga for Men (over 40, or 50, or 60!)

We knew just who to ask when wanting to add this special class to our schedule.  Please join us - or tell the men in your life to join us - for this special class teaching yoga to the needs of men's bodies, especially for men who have not ventured into the female-dominated yoga spaces! Whether you've been a desk jockey or an athlete, this class is for you. We don't gain flexibility or balance as we age. We have to commit to it. Making a commitment is easier in when groups of people share an activity.
