amrita yoga, created by Sarahjoy Marsh, integrates vinyasa yoga with Ayurveda, neuroscience, yoga philosophy and psychology, pranayama, chanting, mindfulness, and dharma.
amrita yoga emphasizes the bio-mechanics of alignment, anatomy, kinesiology, and rehabilitative processes. amrita yoga is taught in alignment with the rhythms of nature. Ayurveda teaches that our yoga practice should be in harmony with the changing of the seasons as well as the time of day (and your life cycle). To support these natural cycles, amrita yoga classes have different morning and evening rhythms (based on dinacharya) as well as seasonal focuses. Mon, Tue & Thur, Fri | 7 - 8:15 am

The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali offer an amazing pathway to understanding the nature of our minds and what to do with the difficulties we face. An elegant text composed by Sri Patanjali, each sutra is precisely the words it needs to be.
However, it can be difficult to understand or relate to the sutras without a helpful commentary or a place of discussion. These sessions will travel methodically through a few sutras at a time. Understanding the sutras through their pairings will help to reveal the pathway being laid out before you. Each session will include meditation, chanting, and discussion of the Yoga Sutras for contemporary life. Mondays | 10 - 10:30 am
