Maddie originally came to yoga for it's physical benefits, and quickly discovered the deeper layers of healing and transformation that yoga has to offer. She has been practicing since 2004 and teaching since 2011. Maddie loves teaching a variety of styles, from vigorous to gentle and restorative. She considers it part of her job description to help create a stable, safe space where students can explore their relationship to their bodies and minds while cultivating a compassionate, loving attitude and using the yoga tools that suite them best. As a practicing certified yoga therapist, she similarly enjoys working with a wide range of students, but particularly specializes in low back pain, pelvic floor dysfunction, and working with depression and anxiety. When not in class, Maddie is an avid gardener, permaculture enthusiast, goat keeper, and devoted mom.
