Psy.D. RYT 200
is a psychologist, mindfulness educator and yoga instructor with a passion for sharing the healing benefits of mindfulness and movement practice. She has been teaching mindfulness-based interventions since 1999 and MBSR since 2007. She completed yoga teacher training with Sarahjoy Marsh at the DAYA Foundation, is a licensed Nia Technique™ Instructor and is a Certified MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) teacher with the University of Massachusetts Medical School Center for Mindfulness. She has completed instructor training in Mindfulness-Based Emotional Balance (MBEB) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and is the founder of Awake to the Heart Mindfulness, where she works in community and educational settings teaching research-based practice to support resilience, health and wellbeing through mindfulness.
