David received his PT degree at the University of Wisconsin–Madison and his Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy (DScPT) degree at Andrews University. He began his manual therapy training in the Netherlands and received his manual therapy certification from the North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT).
David is the Director of Education for Therapeutic Associates and runs the TAI BreathWorks program at the Downtown Portland location. He completed a Respiratory Fitness Trainer certification through Better Physiology.
He has deep appreciation for the work of Yoga and Qi Gong as it relates to healthy breathing, and healthy living.
David offers small group and individual Capnography sessions at DAYA.
Small Group Sessions provide breath behavior information, instruction and practices to restore optimal health. Limited to 10 participants. Capnotrainers are used to help reinforce the concepts from class. Handouts and home practice tools are provided.
Individual Sessions include individual learning with the Capnotrainer®, and custom home practice instructions.
Additionally, traditional physical therapy services may be provided including, and not limited, to manipulation, mobilization, taping, and home exercise instruction. Home practice instructions will be provided.
