Annie began her dance with Yoga around 20 years ago. Yoga has afforded her a deeper and more respectful relationship with the body that brings her to yoga again and again. From Asana and into the deeper forest of yoga, Annie also brings experience with a variety of movement modalities, a fascination with story and song, and a respect for the life of Yoga as science and philosophy. From rigorous yet accessible Vinyasa, to the glacial work of Yin, Annie endeavors to teach the students who are before her...not to do, but to be. Preferring to make space and rest as much a focus of practice as any effort, or deep postural expression. In addition, Annie has developed an approach to teaching with the single point Aerial Hammock that she is excited and humbled to offer, seedling style, into the forest of Yoga that has and continues to offer her, and so many others, a glimpse of their true, free, and infinitely expansive natures.
Annie is also a clown...really, and she hopes you laugh a little with every practice:o)
