Aerial Yoga follows many of the same principles as traditional mat-based yoga classes while offering a chance for students to explore suspended movement. With the incorporation of a fabric hammock, students are able to experience stability, support, and new ways of practicing traditional asana as we move through class. Aerial Yoga classes are accessible to every student who is willing and eager to elevate their practice (literally or figuratively). We offer classes for those looking to relax and unwind, or to flow and fly. for. Aerial yoga is thought to be particularly beneficial for students who spend a long time sitting, or who have back pain, because it has a decompressing effect on the body. This practice helps to improve breath awareness, sense of balance, direction, mobility, flexibility, strength and stability. This practice builds confidence and encourages students to shift the focus from their limitations to their limitlessness. Come Join us and discover your Ananda (blissful joy) in levitating meditations!
