Mindfulness & Compassion - The Heart of Connection is a four-week series exploring the relationship between the attitudes and practices of mindfulness, and the heart-based practices of kindness and compassion. Each session blends the highly effective, research-based methods of Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction and the work of Kristin Neff Ph.D and Christopher Germer Ph.D.,creators of the Mindful Self-Compassion Training. This course provides an introduction to core principles and practices from each tradition, to help foster greater resilience and meet change and challenge with more kindness, care and understanding.
Class Format: This class meets for four weekly two-hour sessions.
